One Dead, Two Injured in South Austin Crash

On Thursday night, December 22nd, an Austin man was killed and two others were injured in a car collision in southwest Austin.

According to the Austin American-Statesman, Saul Moctezuma attempted to make a turn near FM 1826 while driving a Mitsubishi Eclipse when his vehicle was struck by an oncoming truck. While the driver of the pickup was uninjured after the crash, a passenger in Saul Moctezuma's car, Aurelio Moctezuma, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Furthermore, six year-old Jonathon Moctezuma sustained serious injuries that resulted in him being taken by StarFlight to Dell Children's Medical Center on Mueller Boulevard in Austin, Texas and was thankfully released soon thereafter. Saul Moctezuma refused treatment at the scene.
