Bastrop Twins Die in Car Crash

According to the Austin American-Statesman, twin brothers died in a one car crash on Wednesday afternoon, November 2nd, 2011.

Ronald and Donald Hentschel, age 48, both residents of Giddings, Texas, were driving on Texas 95 headed towards Elgin in Bastrop County. At around 4pm, while approaching Loop 109, Ronald began losing control of the vehicle they were in. Their car then slid off the road and crashed into a concrete culvert.

When police arrived shortly thereafter, they discovered that Donald was not wearing a seat belt. Unfortunately, both men were declared dead at the scene less than an hour after the crash. Funeral services have not yet been announced.
