Austinite Attacked by Three Pitbulls

An Austin man was recently charged with a third-degree felony after his three pitbulls violently attacked a man in East Austin on September 5th.

According the the Austin American-Statesman, this all began when the victim, whose name has not yet been released by the press, went on a walk near his home. Without any provocation, three pitbulls approached the man and began attacking him.

As the pitbulls attacked, the victim fell to the ground as the dogs continued biting the defenseless man. Several people in the area attempted to fight off the pitbulls, but were unsuccessful. When police arrived, they noted that the dogs were covered in the victim's blood. The man was immediately taken to the hospital and suffered lacerations, bruises, and injuries to his head, face, and hands. He has been recommended to consult with a plastic surgeon regarding his injuries.
