Two people killed in motor vehicle accident

An accident in Austin, Texas near Far West Blvd. resulted in two deaths Tuesday, September 6th, 2011. According to the Austin American-Statesman, a 21 year-old motorcycle driver hit the back of a black Land Rover at about 2am near the 6200 block of North Mopac. The crash resulted in the motorcyclist falling off the bike onto the roadway.

While driving along the highway, Brian McKernan saw the motorcyclist laying on the road, and stopped to assist and aid the driver. While attempting to render aid, the motorcyclist and Good Samaritan were struck by an oncoming black Honda. After sustaining devastating injuries, both were pronounced dead at the scene shortly thereafter.
