FDA Warns of Serious Complications Involving TransVaginal Mesh

The FDA has recently warned against TransVaginal Mesh implantation after recent research showed that women have experienced an extraordinarily high number of complications after the procedure.

According to DrugRecalls.com, TransVaginal mesh is "a material that stretches across the vaginal wall providing supportfor damaged tissue and is one option for treatment of pelvic organ prolapse or stress urinary incontinence."

A clincal trial showed that nearly 10% of women experienced erosion within just a few months after the surgery was performed. Additionally, the FDA linked TransVaginal Mesh to injuries that can lead to additional pain for months, years, and potentially a lifetime.

If you've experienced pain or discomfort, injury, or disfigurement after a TransVaginal Mesh procedure, please contact an experienced personal injury lawyer at Zinda & Davis in order to potentially recover for your medical bills, pain and suffering and other damages. Our attorneys mix aggressive and compassionate care to make certain our clients receive the best legal representation possible, and look forward to helping individuals that have had unfortunate complications after their TransVaginal Mesh procedure.
